Lazy weekend

A restful Fri, no outing and went home straight after match. some gross creature tried his luck again by asking if i needed a lift home and even attempted to use me as a time filler. a smack on his face would underestimate what he deserves.
Although i was looking forward going to cafe iguana to try out the magarita with hwee kwan, i knew i needed the rest quite badly. Therefore, i was all right with the last min cancellation... I hv no idea why my back is aching so much and the dull pain hasn't subsided even till now..

Saturday was so so lazy... Met the gals, Priya and Eileen for lunch at clarke quay TCC.. a nice cosy place to just laze and talk the time away.. then we decided to try the italian deserts @ Ricciotti. even for someone who doesn't really fancy choc, i must say that Soffiato is superb! it's a warm dark chocolate cake with cholate-chip ice cream.. price is reasonable too. The other cake that we tried, Ricciotti, a cheesecake claimed to be made from fine ricotta cheese is so-so only...
headed home and not long after, it was Mother's Day treat for my mom at Golden Bay Seafood, opposite Haw Par Villa. The bill came close up to 150, kinda pricey, given it's only 3 of us.

Woke up extremely early, 730am for a run at the reservoir.. i know i would give all sorts of excuses not to run in the evening alone mainly due to the no. of foreign workers lurking around... not being discrimatory but from the way they look at gals, better not try my luck. besides, my place here ain't really safe... not too long ago, there was a murder in the block opposite mine. and less than 3 weeks ago, a teen terror was arrested for open glue sniffing and openly molesting 1 teen and an undergrad gal (who happened to be coming back from her jog).

after church, it was another gals day out with Pek Har and Cindy. Had lunch at Holland V sushi tei. was supposed to be heading for provence for their yummy buns and coffee, as well as to yak, we ended up at bugis street shopping. it was a great time spent sharing some little secrets, sharing of views, buying pretty stuff. Cindy said next outing will be ktv. noted down so that i'll know how long it'll take to come true. haha.

been so lazy nowadays to take photos..

work's piling up. been working non-stop in the office since 8am this morning till 2pm except buying tea to keep myself warm and meeting students which amount to less than an hr. need to catch my breathe, so went off early.. it was that bad to the extent where i felt giddy and literally saw stars (some fuzzy dots) when i squatted down.. there's lots to be done but surely there'll be end to it.. i will survive with God's grace and strength! =D
