Last day at Moreton Bay Research Station

yay! it's the last day of the academic program.. had been trying to upload pictures but it took such a long time. decided that i'll do that slowly over today when the students are busy with their work.

basically, here's a short breakdown of the academic program:

sunday 27/5 : reach island and tour around the place
monday 28/5: field trips to fire ecology, mayora pt (mangrove), brown lake
tuesday 29/5: Gorge walk, trawler and plankton activity
wednesday 30/5: aborignal talk, start of their project
thursday 31/5: data collection for their project
friday 1/6: report writing
saturday 2/6: presentation


we'll be leaving the island very early tmr morning. for the whole sunday and monday, it'll be more of recreational activity.
