Thought provoking anime
Watching this short anime of 9 short episodes each lasting around 5min got me emotional and started tearing...
It entails a romantic love story between a couple and a time comes where they'll have to part because the gal managed to secure a place in an overseas colleage. The decision that she made prior to her departure triggered off the tap to my tear duct - SHE CHOSE TO BREAK UP!
I thought it was EXTREMELY courageous of her. She loved the guy so much that she was willingly to bear the pain of parting with him, and letting him go. Her rationale was that she could not promise him anything due to the uncertainities that the future holds. The self centred and cowardly act would be to keep the relationship and let the guy wait, and let him be the safety blanket. Letting him go would allow him to pursue his happiness in the unknown number of years that she would be spending overseas.
Is that what true love is supposed to be in this fallen world in its closest sense?
Self sacrifical,

always trust...

On a side note, the guy in the anime is extremely sweet!!! I was so touched by all the things he did for the gal. oh my...
ok, it's time to get out of this fantasy mode. ha~
