we had the first and last cell meeting for this year of which, is the most significant one so far. the spirtual climate was changed and i can't help but to think something greater is yet to come!
it was fortunate that i didn't miss the gathering for the tons of reasons like- brooding over the proposal due on monday; terrible morning with soiled pants; the main mastermind of this gathering played us out; and the most compelling factor was being unable to visit parents.
after a time of feasting, talking, taking pix and playing a fool, it was a time of prayer. michelle, a lady who attended the single's conference earlier on felt led to pray for the leader and then it turned out that a prophetic message was given for each and every one of us. it was amazing how each of the message was unique and speaks right through into our hearts. it was like as if she knew each one of us, yet it was the first time we met her for most of us. i can't remember exactly all that was said so i'll try to recall the main points as much as possible.
beginning first with the leaders:
- intimacy with God,
- return to the first love,
- live simple
then she prayed for the married couples.
for him:
to be led by the Spirit and annointing in teaching the Word
for me:
God will enable me to be a natural and spiritual mother
intimacy with God
finally she prayed for the singles. i was really blown away and i thank God for this bunch of wonderful people and the great fellowship that we have. while this could possibly be the last cell meeting for the year, i pray that we will all move on in the areas of our lives being empowered to do the work that He has called us to.

i received the biggest bombshell on my first day back to school (and it's not even considered school term for me yet). it's a challenge to garner the team and whole school's support to do the event in just a matter of 9 days. anyway, on a positive note, at least it'll be over and done with. besides, expectation can't be sky high huh? it's the shortest notice ever and i'm sure sympathetic colleauges would be willingly to chip in their help.
i also had a VERY pleasant surprise seeing this on my table the first day i returned to school. from the first new friend i had in jj who has now left. she just too sweet already la, makes me feel like tearing.
