janelle's chronicles: stroller or jogger?

It was a straight forward answer for both of us. Jogger for certain. However, the price of the market's renowned brand is exorbitant, costing about $1100. Even with the discount thrown in and distributor sourced out, it still cost around $800. I was quite disappointed as the price was beyond my budget and it didn't make any sense to spend so much on a stroller or jogger. Other than looking around at Balestier and distributor at Chinatown, we also chanced upon one particular stroller in JB.

In the end, we settled for the malaysian one and were elated with the purchase for several reasons. Other than it being a jogger alike, there are many features that thrills us.

For one, the stroller cost around $150 and it looks decent. Other than that, the orientation of the bassinet can be reversed to let baby face the pusher. The only con is that the stroller is meant for babies 7mths to 3 years.

However, the stroller is compatible with a car seat meant for new born and up to 15kg. This means that we could use the car seat as part of the stroller till baby grows out of it. Anyway, there ain't any one size fits all car seat. So by the time, baby outgrows the seat, we'll change it and as for the stroller, he can be using the big guy seat mentioned earlier. The price of the car seat was less than $90. Woo-hoo.

So all in all, we spend less than a fraction of the expensive jogger price and had all our requirements met! Such fruitful shopping and hence I must take pictures!
