Melaka 9-10aug

Given the long weekend, and Tue being a school holiday, what better reason is there not to go out to explore?

This time round, it was a short road trip to Melaka, and papa xun's second attempt at driving long distance. We had the great company of in-laws, sis-in-law, uncle morris, auntie and cousin sonia. Packed into 2 cars, we departed from S'pore at wee hours of 6am from tiong bahru.

Here's one of the few snapshots that I took. We stayed at holiday inn. Rooms are bright, clean and neat, not forgetting to mention that it's affordable as well.

We had a great time shopping and the greatest gainer is none other than baby! Although we had lots of hand-me down as well as some previous purchases, we couldn't resist these little cute outfits! Moreover, they are from gap, h&m and polo ralph. Prices are sooo attractive.

Adding onto the collection...

Another interesting place that we visit where kuais were sold in a kumpung area. This shop distributes to hotels and shops. We bought some really authentic nyonya kuais and dumplings. Don't think we get to see these blue coloured kuais around.
