after an unfruitful day at Auckland, the third day was much better. the highlight for Day 3 was Waitomo Glow Cave where we got to see tons of glow worms in the cave. there's this portion of the cave called cathedral simply because it's the tallest point in the cave and it's shaped like one where some couples chose to hold their wedding soleminsation.
it was coooooold in there! and to think i was wearing a jumper skirt!
lunch was at The Big Apple Cafe. such a cute name
Day 4- more of rotoura's tourist attractions
first stop in the morning, te puia, thermal spring
boiling mud and sulpur smell!
welcomed by animal show where sheeps were sheared...

austrialians being teased and kids feeding the lambs! so sweet!

thereafter was Rainbow Spring to see exotic trouts, birds and kiwis!

the last stop of the day was Polynesian Spa!

it was so good to soak in a warm pool of 40 degrees in such cold weather! love this shot cos it captures the nice scenary behind
Day 5- adventure day!

we took a triple bypass which cost NZ$120. triple bypass meant that we get to choose three out of the first 4 on the board.

the race track

agrojet was a gut-spilling experience!

learning to balance

after the adventure rides, we hang around a while before taking the shuttle back to town centre.saw one of my favourite flowers, hygenia sprouting everywhere. almost wanted to make it for my hand bouquet for wedding but too bad it isn't hardy enough. can't resist taking photo with them! such pretty flowers!

we had a stroll in the farm as well
something to mention, there's this really sweet old angmo (englishman to be correct) on the same bus as us. what happened was that the bus driver reminded us to bring all of our valuables with us when we alighted and he responded, "i've only got my wife with me". awww...
